Helen Fitzpatrick

Pocklington Junior School

Helen Fitzpatrick works at Pocklington Junior School in the East Ridings of Yorkshire. She is a teacher with 16 years’ experience, having taught first in London and then in Yorkshire.

She trained as a Primary Mastery Specialist in 2024–2025 and has a particular interest in oracy and its role in supporting a mastery pedagogy.

Helen leads oracy focus groups for teachers across North Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire, supporting colleagues to develop effective practice that strengthens teaching and learning.
